TYPE OF EVENTS?
We hold various types of events that focus on both networking and competing.
Brackets
Bracket competitions are conducted with a specific amount of competitors at once until there are enough competitors left to conduct a playoff (1v1). Competitors will eliminate one another until there is one person left. The objective of this type of event is usually to correct the most bugs within a block of code before your opponents.
Hackathon
These events are conducted over a 24-48 hour time period and competitors will build a single product that best demonstrates specific criteria that the judges are looking for.
Meetups
Have fun, relax, and enjoy meeting other developers/programmers in the D.C. area. Use these opportunities to better network and find individuals to help you build your dream startup!
